- Animal Science
Responsibilities
To find solutions to locally identified problems facing agriculture. These come through grass roots input by committees, individuals and groups who have vested interests. Emerging issues are identified and lead to programming and delivery of available research solutions. The animal science specialty involves significant time spent on focused programming while needs outside this area expand responsibilities further. Serving a diverse clientele base puts Extension at the crossroads of change when it matters, helping find solutions with a net income focus offering long term sustainability.
