The Stone Soup Program helps those with limited incomes to improve their quality of life by participating in food service workforce training.  Skills taught include food preparation, food safety, nutrition, managing food budgets, and customer service.  Participants will receive a ServSafe Food Handler Certificate from the National Restaurant Association after completing this program.

Participants are expected to attend each session to receive hands-on training in food safety, culinary skills, and customer service.  Participants will receive cooking equipment to practice their new skills at home.
